Remote assessment

Guidance for centres who are using, or considering using, technology to enable candidates to complete an assessment remotely.

This guidance is not prescriptive but is intended to support centres to make their own informed judgements about how they could use technology to invigilate assessments remotely. It explores the different aspects of remote invigilation that centres need to consider.

We are reviewing this guidance periodically to ensure it stays current and in line with any changes to public health guidelines and developments in technology. While the versions below include some references to session 2020-21, the guidance can still be used until we publish updated versions later in the year.
