FOI21/22 113 SQA Qualifications Overseas

I am currently researching the extent to which individuals outside of the UK are studying for professional, technical and vocational qualifications offered by awarding bodies in the UK. It is very noticeable that, while considerable research has been undertaken on the growth of transnational education among British universities, so little is known about the size and other features of these important overseas education markets.  Unfortunately, Ofqual does not collect any relevant information (unlike HESA for universities), so I am writing to you now to ask if you could share with me some very basic information on the total number of individuals who were studying for SQA qualifications in overseas locations in 2019 (i.e. before COVID), ideally broken down by qualification type and continent.
