The numbers of staff and experience of individuals in Geography teaching and curriculum, who are responsible for setting National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher Geography exam questions papers in 2022, and the Revision Guides released on 8th March 2022.

2022 National 5 Geography
11 teachers, with 3 to 9 years of senior Appointee experience
2022 Higher Geography
11 teachers, with 2 to 8 years of senior Appointee experience
2022 Advanced Higher Geography
9 teachers, with 2 to 6 years of senior Appointee experience
The SQA does not hold the number of years of experience a teacher has in the profession. However, for a teacher to be considered for a senior Appointee role, they must be experienced teachers or lecturers and usually have completed a number of years as a Marker.
