Number of complaints received before February revision of 2025 timetable

I require information regarding the number of complaints that led up to the February revision of the 2025 exam timetable.

Did private schools play a large part in the decision

SQA received fourteen complaints prior to the February revision of the 2025 exam timetable.

Under section 17 of the Act when an authority does not hold information, it must inform the requester of this.

We are unable to provide any information on whether private schools played a large part in the decision as we have no recorded information relating to that. There was no indication that any complainant was associated with an independent school or any other centre.
