Number of Markers by Subject for Last 10 Years

I want to know the total number of markers recruited for each subject at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher for the past 10 academic years (excluding the two years of no exams due to Covid).

I am looking for the total number available for each subject, so if someone marks more than one subject they should be counted in the total for each subject. I am aware that this means that the total number of markers may be lower than accumulated total of all the subjects.

I have attached a spreadsheet and would ask that you respond by completing this and returning it to me in the existing format. I do not want the spreadsheet converted into a PDF.

The information your requested is within the attached spreadsheet. To answer your request fully we have made a couple of amendments to the template spreadsheet you provided. Please note the following:

• In 2014 and 2015 we had dual running of Highers and Advanced Highers. We’ve included separate tabs for the ‘old’ Highers and Advanced Highers. This info may not be required but I wanted to provide it in the interest of completeness. Numbers for ‘new’ H and AH are contained within the tabs provided by the requester.
• There is also a separate tab for Lifeskills Maths Nat 5. It became Applications of Maths in 2018 which is detailed in the National 5 tab provided.
