I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act 2002 (FOISA). Please provide details of your current contract covering reprographics/print arrangements as follows

1.         How many Multi-functional devices do you have?

2.         Name of current supplier/s?   

3.         Contract start date?   

4.         Contract end date?  

5.         Is there an option to extend this contract?

6.         Does the SQA have a print room? If yes, when does the contract end?

7.         Does the SQA have additional printers? if yes how many and is there a contract?

8.         What route to market – open tender or framework, if yes which one used?

Response

We have 22 x A3 Mono MFD minimum A4 speed 55ppm

The name of the current suppliers is Ricoh – SQA2500 Lot 2 MFDs

The contract start date is 1st December 2025

The contract end date is 30th November 2030

There is no option to extend the contract.

Yes, we have an internal print room that is operated by Qualifications Scotland staff.  The equipment is leased through contract SQA2500 – Lot 1 Print Production Equipment (Xerox) – ends 30th November 2030.

We have 1 x colour machine with a minimum speed of 80ppm A4, 3 x mono machines with a minimum speed of 136ppm A4, 1 x colour machine with a minimum speed of 80ppm A4. Lot 1 Print Production Equipment (Xerox) – ends 30th November 2030

It was done by mini competition through Scottish Government Framework (SP-21-046).
