Information requested
Could you please provide details of the paper that official exams are printed on (specifically GSM, coated/not coated or any others which you can provide), as well as if possible details of the supplier of the paper.
If there is more than one type, could you provide all different types that you can

The majority of question papers are printed black type on white paper, which should be of no less than 80gsm.
The other types are as follows:
Art and Design and Media – colour images, printed on white art glossy paper, of no less than 150gsm
Design and Manufacture, Graphic Communication, Environmental Science, Photography and Fashion and Textile Technology – colour images printed on paper no less than 100 gsm
Photography (supplementary item) – colour images on photographic paper
Science subjects – objective test answer grid single page printed with drop out ink (PMS217).
The majority of coloured/enlarged question papers are printed on coloured paper, which should be of no less than 80gsm.
The paper is supplied by our print suppliers – Page Bros and Hobbs Ltd.
