Q1 - 5

  • There were no international trips in 2020/21.
  • The information for 2019/20 is provided in the attached file.

SQA and its predecessor bodies have been working internationally for over 25 years, reflecting our globally recognised expertise in qualifications development and delivery and supporting the Scottish Government's international strategy to enhance Scotland's standing around the world. There continues to be a demand for SQA qualifications and services. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic this has slowed down in most regions.

Q6 - No new international consultancy contracts were awarded during 2019/20 or 2020/21.

Q7 - As is the case with UK centres on an ongoing basis SQA received income from awarding sales through international centres totalling £2,383,233 in 2019/20 and £2,354,369 in 2020/21.
