SQA has attached the following documents

  • SQA's Race Equality Scheme RES 2007-10 - this document was published on our website in 2007 along with a redacted version of an action plan for the same time period. 
  • Between publication of SQA's RES 2007-10 and the enforcement of the Equality Act 2010 SQA commenced work to develop a single Equality Scheme to combine its Race, Gender and Disability Equality Schemes.  This work was not complete due to the requirements of the Equality Act coming into force and the impending responsibilities relating to the new single Public Sector Equality Duty.
  • As part of the Public Sector Equality Duty SQA publishes a wide range of documents on the Equality pages on our website and they can be accessed at the following web link

  • In August 2020, SQA became a signatory of the Business In The Community (BITC) Race at Work Charter.   We have published the logo and information on our equality web page.
