Equality Review Forms for Music

I hereby submit a formal request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 for the most recent Equality Impact Assessment conducted on the "Approved List of Instruments and Combinations" for National 5 Music

Please find attached four completed equality review process forms for N5 Music from 2015, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Please see Equality and SQA qualifications - SQA for information on our Equality Review process.  SQA does not carry out equality impact assessments for each qualification.  As well as challenges around practicability of this, SQA has specific duties under the Equality Act as a general awarding body (s96 of The Equality Act) which are different from the Public Sector Equality Duty. Instead, the process for assessing impacts of changes and recording these for individual qualifications is the Equality Review process.  This is very similar to an equality impact assessment. 

We have removed the names of members of staff below Head of Service level as this is considered personal information under section 38 (1)(b) of the Act.
