Description

Section 149 (1) of the Equality Act 2010 requires Qualifications Scotland to have due regard to a number of needs, including the need to advance equality of opportunity between persons who share a relevant protected characteristic and persons who do not share it. Section 149 (1) of the Equality Act 2010 requires SQA to have due regard to a number of needs, including the need to advance equality of opportunity between persons who share a relevant protected characteristic and persons who do not share it. Analyses of the 2025 outcomes can be found below.

In addition to the normal five-year reporting period, the 2025 publication includes an additional two years, 2020 and 2019, with 2019 being the most recent year prior to the pandemic where full course assessment was undertaken.
