Grade Boundaries 2020, Component Marks 2020, and Assessment Arrangements 2020 publications
Due to the cancellation of the 2020 exams because of the COVID-19 public health emergency, the 2020 awarding approach for the graded national courses is based on estimated grades.
Consequently, the 'Grade Boundaries 2020', 'Component Marks 2020', and 'Assessment Arrangements 2020' publications cannot be produced.

Alternative Certification Model (2020)
On 04 August 2020, the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) published the Attainment Statistics (August) 2020. The results for the graded National Qualifications reported in the publications, were based on the implementation of an Alternative Certification Model (ACM).
On 11 August 2020, the Deputy First Minister issued a Ministerial Directive in the Scottish Parliament, directing SQA to change the approach to 2020 certification and instead award results based solely on estimates provided by centres. The results of those learners who were awarded a higher grade during the ACM moderation process would be retained.
The Attainment Statistics (August) 2020 published on 04 August 2020 have therefore been replaced by the Attainment Statistics (August) 2020 Revised published on 31 August 2020, which reflect the Ministerial Directive.
